The Bride
A BIT about HANNAH.
Hannah grew up in the charming small town of Tecumseh, Michigan, where she was raised by her loving parents—her role models for the perfect partnership—and her younger, extremely cool sister (and maid of honor). A lifelong creative, Hannah finds joy in drawing, painting, and—most recently—building this wedding website. Professionally, she’s dedicated to tackling the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.
These days, Hannah is happily building her life with Alex in New York City. She loves pistachio croissants, disco music, and the fact that Alex keeps their apartment lush with healthy, happy plants that brighten her day (she does NOT have a green thumb herself).
The Groom
A BIT about ALEXANDER.
Alex, also a Michigander, grew up in Commerce Township with his amazing parents. An only child, he had no trouble making friends who became like brothers to him, including Jan Pascual, one of his best men. At Michigan State, he continued making lifelong friends like his other best man, Matt Vasher and—most importantly—met the love of his life.
Ever since meeting Hannah, their adventures have taken them from East Lansing to Ann Arbor, where Alex attended law school at the University of Michigan, then all the way to Anchorage, Alaska, before finally landing in New York City. These days, he and Hannah share their home (and their laps) with their two beloved cats, Charlie and Pastry. Alex loves all things nerdy—especially video games—along with fitness and cooking.
